STAGE 2: THE SPACE

"Guard the quiet. Everything needs room."

Stage 2: The Space is where you begin to clear some room. Not healed, not fixed, but aware enough to know that something has to change before anything else can. You start setting limits, maybe small ones at first. You start noticing what costs you and what restores you. The chaos is still present. You are just beginning to stop feeding it.

This is slow, unglamorous work. Nobody writes songs about boundaries that held or the phone call you did not return. The progress is quiet and mostly invisible from the outside. That does not make it any less real.

The Space is where healing stops being an accident and starts being a decision. A small one, made imperfectly, made again the next day.

Baby One More Time

Britney Spears

The song captures the deep emotional strain of loneliness and the psychological impact of regret after a significant loss.
